Composer and Kapellmeister

He studied at Escolania de Montserrat and was a kapellmeister in the cathedrals of La Seu d'Urgell and Girona (1781-1785) replacing F. Juncà. From 1785 onward, he held the same position in the cathedral of Córdoba, leving the position temporarily, to be appointed master of the convent of the Incarnation of Madrid. His musical production is extensive and includes oratorios and cantatas as well as masses, hymns, lamentations, motets and secular music.
