He was Eusebi Daniel i Campalans's nephew. From 1900 to 1912 he lived in Paris and between 1917 and 1924 in Argentina. After returning to Barcelona, he was known for his compositions for teatre líric as well as for the zarzuelas and sainets premiered in the 1930s and 1940s. He composed piano music, religious music, dances, music for band, an opera and various choir arrangements of popular songs. He also practiced painting and was a professional photographer.
