Kapellmeister and composer
He began his music education as a choirboy of the Cathedral of Barcelona and as a disciple of Marcià Albareda. From 1666, he was Master of singing of the church of Sant Just i Sant Pastor. Although in 1672 he won the examinations for Kapellmeister of the Cathedral of Tarragona, Isidre Escorihuela took the position a few months later. In 1678, after a period teaching at the Cathedral of Valencia he was appointed Kapellmeister of Santa Maria del Pi in Barcelona.
Only three works among his output have been preserved, all of them in polychoral style.
