Despite the scarce biographical information, sources suggest Teixidor applied for the position of organist in the church of Santa Maria del Mar in 1706. He wrote various theoretical treatises and composed, among others, a Benedictus Dominus for 11 voices and an organ Tiento. In 1718, he took part in the famous controversy over Missa Scala Aretina by Francesc Valls.
