About one hundred religious compositions have been preserved in the archives of the institutions where he worked and in the Biblioteca de Catalunya. Some of these compositions ainclude Al gozo más eminente, written for the visit of Archduke Charles of Austria to Girona (1710) and Venid mortales for the replacement of the Bourbonic bishop Taverner (1711) (despite the opposed political view of the lyrics). He also authored the music of La comedia de afectos de odio y amor, with text by Calderón de la Barca. He was one of the most prolific Catalan composers of the 17th and 18th centuries, and has recently gained recognition.
