Pianist and teacher
He studied piano, harmony and composition at Escola Municipal de Música de Barcelona (EMMB) with Millet, Nicolau and J. Canals.
He was appointed lecturer in EMMB until his retirement (1952) and devoted himself to both education and performance. In addition, he composed piano and chamber music and wrote pedagogical treatises on piano and solfege. He was awarded prizes at the Festa Musical Catalana (1908) and the Patxot Prize for his Piano Sonata in B minor.
